Creative Management (2024)

public performance and video

commissioned by Mural Arts

Set in Philadelphia’s Love Park, “Creative Management” is a live public performance that uses the choreographic structure of six interconnected rolling office chairs. As bureaucratic satire, the piece explores the neoliberal co-optation of team-building exercises and methods of improvisational theater into office culture. It also attempts to dramatize the gap between bureaucratic systems of governance and the urgent environmental and everyday realities they oversee.
